Come light, light of God, give light to creation,
enlighten our hearts and remain with your world.

O God, Creator of the universe and of all that lives and breathes,
from your dwelling place you refresh the mountains and forests.
The earth is filled with the fruits of your work.
You make grass grow for the herds,
plants and fruit trees for people to farm,
drawing their bread from the earth.
You entrusted your creation to us. We beseech you:
save us from the temptation of power and domination.
May your Spirit of wisdom teach us
how best to care for and safeguard what you entrust to us.
Blow your Spirit of life on your creation and all humanity.

Come light, light of God, give light to creation,
enlighten our hearts and remain with your world.

We beseech you, bless every effort and every search,
Every struggle and every pain that seek to restore
the harmony and beauty of your Creation.
Renew the face of the earth, so that every human being
may live in peace and justice, fruits of your Spirit of love.
Blow your Spirit of life on your creation and all humanity.

Come light, light of God, give light to creation,

We beseech you, Lord,
bless the fruits of the earth and the work of our hands
and teach us to share the abundance of your goods.
Send rain to the dry soil, sun and fair weather
where harvest is endangered by storms.

From you, O Lord our God, come all gifts, and we give you thanks.
Hear the sigh raising from your creation,
gather the suffering of all people,

Komm göttliches Licht, erleuchte die Erde,
erfüll unsere Herzen, nimm Wohnung in uns.

O Gott, Schöpfer des Universums und von allem was da lebt und atmet,
von dem Platz an dem du weilst, labst du Berge und Wälder.
Die Erde ist voll der Früchte Deines Werkes.
Du lässest Gras für die Herden spriessen,
Pflanzen und Obstbäume für die Menschen,
sie zu pflegen, und zu ernten für das tägliche Brot.

Wir flehen dich an, segne alle Mühe und jedes Suchen,
jeden Kampf und jeden Schmerz, beim Bemühen
die Harmonie und Schönheit deiner Schöpfung wiederherzustellen.
Erneuere das Angesicht der Erde, damit jeder Mensch
in Frieden und Gerechtigkeit leben kann - Früchte deines Geistes der Liebe.
Möge dein Geist des Lebens, o Herr, durchwehen die ganze Menschheit.

Komm göttliches Licht ...

Wir flehen dich an, Herr, segne die Früchte der Erde und unserer Arbeit,
und lehre uns zu teilen aus dem Überfluss unserer Güter.
Schicke Regen auf den trockenen Boden, Sonne und gute Witterung,
wenn die Ernte bedroht ist.
Möge dein Geist des Lebens, o Gott, durchwehen die ganze Menschheit.

Wir sehnen uns nach dir mit all unserem Hoffen:
Gib uns von deiner Fülle,
damit deine Wahrheit uns bekehren kann,
und unsere Schwäche überwinden hilft.
Ohne dieses Geschenk sind wir zu schwach,
um dich, Herr der Geschenke, zu erreichen.
