DanChurchAid documentary wins first prize at COP 17

One of the ACT partners, DanChurchAid, has won the first prize at the Development and Climate Days Film Competition 2011 at COP17 in Durban. Their film is: 'Ripples - Climate Change and Disaster Management in Bangladesh'.

The film was shortlisted among 70 climate documentaries, and yesterday an unanimous panel of judges announced "Ripples" as the winner.

If all the world leaders would watch this film, maybe they would understand how serious the climate change is to people around the world and THEY WOULD ACT NOW!!!
