ECEN was present at the Conference of European Churches Assembly in Lyons (Click here to visit the Assembly web page) and organised one of the seminars and the Eco-Management of the Assembly. The Eco-Management was difficult as the Assembly took place in a large conference centre but it was an opportunity to raise some awareness. There was a stand presenting the work of ECEN and a hearing on environmental issues, and these resulted in many good contacts and the attitude of delegates was positive. ECEN organised a climate compensation scheme, in partnership with A Rocha, supporting energy efficiency and renewable energy in an educational centre in France which raised E2,500.
