The Socioethical Committee of the Ecumenical Council of Hungarian Churches launched a new project in 2011 with the help of a tender by the „New Hungary Development Plan, Environment and Energy Operative Program”.

The name of the project was „Raising and Enforcing Traditional and Innovative Values Concerning Sustainable Communal Way of Life”, briefly „Traditional and Innovative Values in Dialogue” ,„Tradíció és Innovatív Értékek Dialógusban” – TIÉD. (TIÉD means YOURS in Hungarian.)

With the help of the above mentioned tender there were organized 2-day programs in 12 cities throughout Hungary. People could listen to different lectures, or participate in workshops, small-group discussions, round-table discussions, games, quiz and cultural evenings, they also had the chance to lunch together made of local products and by regional customs, and also to deepen their faith in the Creator God on Sunday worships. The goal was to raise participants' awareness towards sustainable elements of their own, communal way of life, besides to make clear those parts of their lives that need to be and can be changed. The main purpose was the experimental learning while the good and bad lifestyles and lifeforms can be discussed and the lessons can be drawn.
