Basic Information about ECEN

  • ECEN Structure and Organisation
    This paper sets out the aims, membership criteria, structural and organisational details of ECEN, as agreed at the 1999 Loccum Assembly. Also available in German.
  • ECEN Enabling Team
    The members of the team elected at the ECEN Assembly to serve the network, reflecting a mix of nationalities, regions and church traditions.
  • ECEN Working Groups
    These informal sub-networks help us work together on specific issues such as climate change, mobility and creation time. New members of the working groups are always welcome.

  • NEW! Creation Theology
    "Listening to Creation Groaning: Reflections and Notes on Creation Theology" is the title of the Memorandum produced following a Consultation on Creation Theology in March 2004. The full Report and Papers from the consultation are available in book form as part of the John Knox Series.
  • Report from the Volos Assembly, May 2003
    A summary of the reports, talks, discussions and decisions made at the last Assembly.
  • Time for Creation
    A statement by the Loccum Assembly urging the churches to set aside the period 1 September to the second Sunday in October each year as a time to celebrate God's creation and to consider more seriously our responsibilities to care for it.
