Then we gave the opportunity for delegates to discuss these issues both in plenary sessions and in working groups. Working group sessions examined
and also addressed the other main areas of current work of ECEN, including| As with previous assemblies, we didn't just sit and talk! We also met with local churches and environmental groups, had cultural and social evenings, and
made visits to see what local issues are important in the environmental for the churches.
We also held elections for the Enabling Team, which oversees the organisation of ECEN between assemblies. We discussed the funding, communications and relationships with the churches and ecumenical bodies. We reviewed the progress and ongoing programmes of the working groups and the future plans for the Network. A cultural evening at one of the local churches |
